    In addition to high operational reliability, modern power plants also call for the use of large cable cross sections. In addition, the components also have to withstand high operating temperatures. PFLITSCH offers UNI Dicht® cable glands in sizes up to M120, which are suitable and safe cable entries for cables with diameters up to 110 mm. Cable glands from the blueglobe® system – available up to M85 – are also used in the power plant field.

    For power supply systems to operate and function reliably all around the clock, they must incorporate durable and long-lived components. PFLITSCH cable glands have the opportunity to show off their advantages here. Precisely manufactured from high-grade materials, the standard series models achieve the high ingress protection class of IP 68 thanks to their unique "soft-squeezing" action on the cables. The possibility of any damage to the cable sheath is eliminated and a durable seal is ensured by the sealing insert making a reliable, large area contact all around the cable.

    Both component series also excel when it comes to electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). They set standards with their spring rings, designed in accordance with the IRIS and TRI principle, which make secure contact around the cable's screening braid.

    One of the most important requirements in modern power station construction, in addition to operational reliability, is the ability to route cables of large cross-section. Furthermore, all components must be able to withstand the high operating temperatures. PFLITSCH offers the optimum solution with the UNI Dicht® range of cable glands in sizes up to M120. These allow cables with diameters of up to 110 mm to be securely fed into switchgear cabinets or housings and ensure a long service life. However, cable glands from the blueglobe® system – available in sizes up to M85 – are also used in these applications.
